Company History

Founded in 2013, CG Aviation Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cloud Global Group which has become a leader in its field. CG Aviation has an international client and customer base that includes aircraft manufacturers and commercial operators throughout the world.

The business now offers a range of specialist services including aircraft sales and leasing, flight training, aircraft maintenance and technical support, asset management and component repair support.

CG Aviation services include aircraft sales, leasing parts sales, loans and exchanges; aircraft engines; consumable supplies; repair and inventory management; parting-out; logistics and door-to-door freight management.

CG Aviation has access to a significant General Aviation and Commercial aircraft engine portfolio with integrated management solutions providing engineering services, aircraft engines for lease and engine components.

Graeme Frater

Chief Executive Officer

Co-founder of CG Aviations’s parent company, Cloud Global Group and with over 23 years’ experience within the aviation industry Graeme has developed excellent working relationships with key companies over the years. His previous roles included working with Menzies Aviation as easyJet Service Delivery Manager at Edinburgh Airport and British Airways Station Account Manager at Glasgow Airport. With Graeme’s focus the business has seen a sharp increase in turnover. The vision is to grow Cloud Global Group into a worldwide organisation to offer bespoke customer service solutions to the aviation industry.

Craig McDonald

Chief Operating Officer

Craig is the co-founder of CG Aviation’s parent company, Cloud Global Group and offers a wealth of knowledge with over 19 years experience in the aviation industry. Craig graduated in aeronautical engineering and began his career in aircraft maintenance as an engineer for companies such as Flybe, Virgin Atlantic, SR Technics, Flyglobespan and Pratt & Whitney before taking to the skies and becoming a commercial airline pilot. Craig is now responsible for the groups technical services and business development in all areas including aircraft sales, acquisitions, leasing, training and recruitment.
